Engaging inactive growth engine

Ironically middle management have great -yet disabled- capacity to solve such paradox by investigating new business opportunities. Middle management are closer to the market/ production frontiers, therefore they are more likely to encounter many business opportunities, even if they lack the experience, confident, nor channels of communication  to report such opportunities. Moreover Middle management  team are so much motivated to investigate new opportunity because it will mean a significant value for their career. Hence they are willing to put effort and time even after working hours to investigate business opportunity that can be a promoting for themselves and for their teams in the firm. On the contrary the top management team are usually too much committed already,  and new opportunities (new product, new machine, new branch…etc) can usually mean more risk and responsibility than the potential benefit they can -individually - gain from it.
